The studio’s portfolio includes the award-winning short film BOTS, an upcoming dark comedy feature film, and a science-fiction trilogy. Steve Beta

Steve Beta, a Ukrainian immigrant, brings a distinctive storytelling style influenced by his experiences in Ukraine, Italy, and the U.S. He refined his acting skills at the Esper Studio in New York under Bill Esper, then gained critical acclaim with his production and starring role in “Cat’s Paw.” In 2010, Steve co-founded Loudbyte, applying a hands-on technical approach to every aspect of commercial and music video production. His 2020 short film “BOTS” distinguished itself on the festival circuit, winning Best U.S. Narrative at the Santa Monica Shorts and Best Comedy at the Newark Short Film Awards, among others. It also earned Steve nominations for Best Director and Best Visual Effects at the British Short Film Awards. “BOTS” was recognized for its compelling narrative and sharp humor at various international festivals, including as a finalist at the Paris International Film Awards and the Montelupo Fiorentino Film Festival, where it won Best Sci-Fi. Steve is currently in pre-production on his first feature film, a dark comedy about the intersection of art and technology.

Ton-Essa La’Rocque

Ton-Essa La’Rocque is a first-generation immigrant raised in New York. After training at the William Esper Studio under Suzanne Esper, she has appeared in Off-Off-Broadway shows and on national television, including ABC’s ‘What Would You Do?’ and ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show.’ In 2020, she won Best Actress in the short film ‘BOTS.’ As the Co-Founder of Loudbyte, Ton-Essa has spent over a decade producing commercials and music videos. Her roles have included director of photography, colorist, editor, writer, and producer. Ton-Essa is writing a three-book science fiction series, with the first book set to be released in 2025.
